With its large output, the T-902 can be used without a preamp, allowing you to create a variety of sounds by directing the microphone. For instance, you can point the microphone toward the backboard to the right of the guitarist's elbow to achieve a deep sound. Although the T-902 is designed for live sound performance, if you desire a more natural sound during recording, you can slightly cut the 1KHz frequency using the EQ to create a more natural-sounding output.
